My name is Deepak Shakya, and I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher based in the UK, offering yoga classes in central London and online. I trained at Sadhguru Gurukulam (formerly known as the Isha School of Hatha Yoga) at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, India. From July to December 2022, I undertook an intensive residential training programme of over 1,750 hours, immersing myself in the depth of Classical Hatha Yoga.

This transformative training set me on a lifelong journey of holistic inner growth — one that goes far beyond physical postures. Through these ancient yogic practices, I discovered a profound integration of mind, body, and energy, creating space for true inner balance and wellbeing.

Continuing on this path, I founded YogaSattva to share the powerful tools of Classical Hatha Yoga with people across the UK and beyond.
